Layover in KL - any suggesstions??

I am considering routing about 7 hours layover at Kuala Lumpur International Airport - is that enough time to see anything in KL? Any suggestion?

You didn't specify which 7 hour of the day it is. Assuming that it's during daytime, you can take the airport train (28 minutes) or bus (1 hour 15 minutes) to the KL Central Station.

From there, you can get on a hop-on hop-off bus which will take you around interesting spots in .

If that doesn't interest you, take the LRT (from the central station) and go to the KLCC station for the . There, you can see the towers, go shopping (underneath the towers), walk in the park (behind the towers).

There's also the famous . Taxi will be the easiest, but beware of the charges. The 20-minute ride from KLCC should be under 20 ringgit (my outdated estimate) under normal traffic condition.

Alternatively, take the LRT again to go to the Central Market (Pasar Seni) station. Chinatown (aka Petaling Street) is just a 5-minute walk from the station. Nearby Chinatown is Sri Mahamariamman temple.

If you love shopping, there's the Bukit Bintang area - virtually endless shopping. From the central station, take the monorail (it's outside the station, ask for direction) to the Bukit Bintang station. If you're at KLCC area, you can walk there in about 20 minutes. Else, take a taxi - you should not be paying more than 8 ringgit, but there are unscrupulous taxis who will offer you the ride for 15 ringgit or more.

if you do not want to travel to Kuala Lumpur town, you can spend your time at transit lounge. I been there once. Nice and comfortable place, good food and free flow of beer... If I am not mistaken the name is plaza premium lounge. They have shower room, I like that... I can refresh myself. It is a good place for tire travelers.
