Hi ya'll,
I'm a student from Nepal (with Nepalese passport) currently studying in United states. I recently got an internship in Augsburg, Germany so I asked a semester leave from my University. My documents are still being processed by that company where I'm about intern so I'm not able to apply for Schengen student/internship visa for Germany yet. Moreover, since the company took so long to process the documents I'll be in illegal status in US if I don't apply for my internship visa or go back to my US University (which is impossible). However, I've family members in Switzerland, so I thought I'd apply for visitor visa for switzerland, and stay there for around 20 days and once my documents are processed from company in germany, reapply for residence/internship permit for Germany while staying in Switzerland.
Please help me if this is possible. I'd really appreciate your help
It won't be possible to apply for the residency/internship visa fro Germany from Switzerland.
In Switzerland you'll be on a visitors visa, thus you are not a resident there. You must apply from the USA.
