I used to travel alone. I am supposed to travel with a friend but he's in second thought of going. So it is highly probable that this is a lonesome trip and my first time in indochina. I am scheduled to roam around saigon from feb25 to 27, 2011. I don't have bookings in any hotel because I am planning to check in Thanh Toungh Guesthouse in District 1. I plan to do the city tour the whole day of 25th, particularly those than are walking distances from each other. I initially thought of joining the guided tours, but I think I want to do it on my own. On the 26th, I plan to reach the chu chi tunnels and have the shopping on the 27th. I researched lots of information on traveling saigon city alone at the most budgeted way. I just want to ask some more tips from anybody here who have been to HCMC...
