U2PIES has indicated that this thread is about Los Angeles
Sorry to advise there will no public transport available to you after the concert due to the late hour involved.
Anaheim Stadium, located in the county of Orange, starts running OCTA busses towards Los Angeles County the next morning after 4am. Anaheim Stadium is adjacent to a rail (train) stop for both Amtrak and Metrolink, however the trains do not run late at night.
Most likely your best option is to hook up with other people attending the concert and carpool, hire a car or plan on spending the night in Anaheim after the show.
Thanks for that ... we will try to car pool with someone I guess! Or maybe leave the concert a little earlier and grab a train.
Cheers
Since Anaheim is where Disneyland is located, there are lots of hotels/motels immediately surrounding the amusement park. The park is located only about 1 1/2 miles away from the stadium so getting a taxi would be an option. However, your biggest problem will be that no taxis will want to go into the stadium parking lot (and get stuck in all the traffic) until at least an hour after the concert has ended. However, I'm guessing there will be taxis available just outside the stadium (on Katella Avenue) that will be waiting for people who need transportation.
However, I think your best bet is to find a motel immediately close by. For this purpose, the major baseball league has established a "Stadium Motel Network", which for the Anaheim Stadium can be found here:
http://angelstadium.stadiumhotelnetwork.com/
and lists hotels/motels close to the stadium that has shuttles that provide (usually free) transportation to/from events.
Enjoy
Thanks so much for that!
How many of you are there?
