also planning to go to asia,m leaving in early november time, anne i see u said bout going china, dats wer im thinking of stating my journey, then to vietnam, laos, cambodia and then to thailand to get there just before new year for the full moon party!! after that god knows!!!!! wldnt mind meeting people to travel with.

Keef, you seem to do a trip similar to mine. I'll start though a little earlier, in end of September stating in Vietnam and then making my way to Philippines, passing by Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia too. When is Full moon party in Thailand?

kl is quite a fun city and i would recommend you stay for at least 3-4 days. its a cheap city and there is good food, nightlife and the fantastic twin towers to see. malaysia has other towns which have their own attractions and penang and malacca are popular with visitors. nice beaches on the east coast of malaysia but you coming when its nearly monsoon time so bit risky weather wise. langkawi island is also a nice rustic village place with nice beaches and its just south of phuket island in thailand.

kl is kuala lumpur, the capital city of malaysia. i see its not on your schedule but do check it out and i reckon you will not regret the visit. english widely spoken and its a great city.

When are you coming to Singapore? Would love to show you around Im a local Singaporean, currently bored of city life. Would be nice to make new friends. How long will your trip be? I will be doing a solo trip to Sri Lanka myself in Dec. If youre staying till that long, then let SL be one of your destination. It's a beautiful place with a totally different culture.
