Anyone Know Of Any Fun/Busy Hostels In Bangkok With A Pool?

I'm looking for a cheapish hostel in Bangkok which is fairly close to all the action and that has a pool. Does anyone have any recommendations?

The Rambuttri Village Inn has single rooms for about 550 bt. They have a nice pool on the roof. It's a great location just round the corner from the nuttyness of Khoa San Rd, but close enough to all the action. Much Nicer atmosphere on Rambuttri lane too. This is a booking site so looks like they bumped the price of a single.

I'm a solo traveller so I'm hoping to find somewhere where I can meet people and have a drink at the hostel in the evenings.

Any help on this much appreciated!

Thnks, Sarah. xx

How much do you want to spend on a room per night? In Bangkok smaller, cheap hotels and guest houses are not much different in price than hostels.

Here is a couple suggestions that are not far from the Skytrain route. But without pool.

Lub D Hostel. Two locations available.

Suk 11 Hostel.

I stayed at the Rambuttri Inn and it was nice. Had two rooftop pools as well!

Hey,

I always like to stay on Koh San.

If you want a pool (which I do too) I always stay at either Buddy Lodge, by McDonalds (£27 roughly a night) or D&D which is cheaper about £7 a night. Buddy is nicer however, I would happily stay at either again. Im back in june!!

I would also recommend Rambuttri Village Inn. After staying at at least 20 different hotels around Khao San and Rambuttri Street over the last 10 year, I've now been staying at Rambuttri for my last 3 trips to Thailand and will most likely stay again next month when I'm there. It has very clean rooms, two nice rooftop pools, and it's perfectly located near all the action. However, I will add that the service is so bad, that I find it a source of entertainment.

When I'm feeling poor though, I usually stay at one of the many generic guesthouses up the street, like a New Siam, Bella Bella, or Merry V - whichever one has a room the night I arrive.
