For the visa (I'm assuming a working holiday visa), you only need to look at . Everyone else is a third party and would have to go through the same, making you pay extra in the process.
The WHV tends to be approved in a few hours (a week at most), and you have a year after the date of approval to fly to Australia, so you can get it pretty much anytime.

as sander said above the best way is to get the visa through the offical website as this is less expensive and alot safer too.
Regarding flights, i would suggest checking the website one by one because you can get better deals by doing this. But also a lot of my friends travelled with STA travel, as they often match other peoples quotes for flights anyway. But if your not picky on the day that you travel that can also help getting the flight cheaper.

Hi,
I've just booked my one way flight to NZ and then over to Sydney from end of October to work (I've already had my visa approved).
I've looked at lots of different websites/packages etc and it seems Ultimate Oz works out the best, moneywise and meeting people/activities. They help you find a job and houseshare too which not many others do.
I don't know how long it takes to find a job/room etc though. Any advice would be welcome?

They both look quite similar in what they offer so can't really decide. I don't really know how long I'm going for but potentially working for the whole 12 months til next October then do east coast, Fiji, Thailand etc.
I'm leaving heathrow on wed 3rd October, going to nz for 3 weeks with kiwi experience, and then over to Sydney from about the 24th October....

Helen - Im deffo doing xmas and ny in sydney heard so many good things about it I think im going on 21st of oct the sunday get there tuesday, maybe be ultimate oz or oz intro or maybe just try doing it all on my own :/ scary stuff haha. Try get a job, then enjoy xmas and ny there and move on around mid jan. no idea where yet, just hoping i get advice of other traveller of wheres good at that time of the year etc. Have u looked at what dates ur going ?? orrrrr u still not sure?
