hi does anyone know if manali-leh route is opening during mid apr? Or is Srinagar-Leh route open?

There is lot of places to visit,
like
Agra, Jaipur, Delhi, Goa, Manaly, Leh Kashmir, etc
lots of cities for visit. first you need to plan your trip .

April in North India will be quite hot and humid. So pack up your sunscreen and deos.
Leh Ladakh (for its sheer beauty), Mussoorie (for the hills), Rishikesh (for water sports), Asmritsar (for Golden Temple and the famous Butter Chicken), Wagah Border, New Delhi, Agra (for Taj Mahal), Jaipur and Udaipur (for various forts) are all places worth a visit.

Dont miss a place called Choki Dhani in Jaipur wherein you can experience the 'village life' in luxury full with camel ride, authentic rajasthani food and rooms in huts.

Accomodation and mode of travel will depend on the kind of budget you have. There are plenty of cheap and expensive options for you to choose from.

Hey Cassandra ... It does not seem very probable.. But I will get in touch with local authorities up there and will surely let you know.... I am from the uk now based in Delhi... So if I can be of any help ... Pleasure would be all mine...

Hey Cassandra...As Lonerplanet said the Manali Leh road will not be open during April..it completely opens only in the end of May. The same goes for the Leh Srinagar road. I know I organize trips/treks in that region . But for spectacular landscapes you must go to Ladakh(You can fly to Ladakh) and visit the surrounding areas like pangong lake and Nubra valley.
