London for Students

Hi,
I'm planning to visit London in march this year. I already found a cheap flight (easyJet) but I still need to find affordable places to eat. Can someone recommend me places with good but not expensive food? I'm student and my budget is very limited and I usually visit less expensive countries (Czech Republic, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, ...) so I really need help with this travel .

For Food I would recommend Looking for Pubs or places not right on the main path, as they will be more expensive. Eating in London is expensive, but you have to eat. Otherwise try buying some grocery's and snacks for the day and for breakfast to make that cheaper. There is plenty of supermarkets around London. And have you considered the London Pass for attractions, I found that helped me save money a lot in London. Depends how long you are going for though to, whether it would be worth it. But the London pass would definitely probably save you money on attractions. Hope this helps.

That's right - pub chains such as Wetherspoon, Hungry Horse and Scream are cheap and reliable for eating out. Also supermarket cafes, which also benefit from national pricing policies.

I agree with using supermarkets and also found small bakeries to be a good option.

If you have not already seen it, you should check out the community's for advice on extras around the city.

Thank you all. This is really helpful.
