Good luck on your travels - can I ask how you applied for your visa? What did you put down as your intended work and how long it took to be approved?

I applied on line, it's all really straight forward, I said I woud be working in a dental surgery as that's what I'm currently doing at the moment. I was shocked at how quick I was approved, literally wasn't even a day haha
Are you planning to go?
No way, that's awesome. I hope it's like that for me! Yeah I'm planning to go early 2017 I'm travelling through Asia first though before landing at Cairns, Sydney and then Perth. Hope to get a stable job for a while once I get to aus. I'm a solo traveller so looking forward to meeting new people along the way.

I know I was really shocked. . I want to go cairns also along the coast. Although Im travelling to sydney to a friends house, she's done a lot of what I want to do so I guess I'm a solo traveller too haha. I don't want to rush into work when I get there and I need to decide when to do farm work as I don't want to rely on sponsership. I really can't wait to get over i just need to plan places to visit. I go to cuba at Christmas for a holiday for 3 weeks so perfect time to plan my trip on laid on a beach haha. What sort of work are you looking for?
Ha that's so weird I go to Florida Christmas for 3 weeks so im gonna go do the same I also don't want to rush into work I want to enjoy the Great Barrier Reef and rainforests and the city life of Sydney before trying to "settle down" for a while in Perth before planning my next trip! I'll do any work really, bar work, hospitality, farm work. Whatever it takes to save enough to plan my next trip!

I am planning on travelling to Auz around August next year! Travelling solo...nervous but so excited too! Thinking of going through ultimate oz or ozintro company for my first week but not sure?
I will be doing a WHV, starting in Sydney then hope to travel up east coast. Other than that I have no set plans.
Would be lovely to know someone travelling at the same time

No I haven't done yet, hopefully will do in the next couple of months. Ive heard they are quite quick at getting back.

I'm up for any type of work, bar, au pair, retail! I do want my 2nd year so need to find some farm work too.
Well we can make those plans together I like the idea of hiring a campervan for some of it.
I'm worried about how much money to go with?
