We've had a north, east, south and west question so now, with the exception of planes, whats the highest point and lowest point on earth we've all been to?
I'm pretty sure we've had this one as well... But in case I'm wrong: here we go. I'm only counting places on the surface of the earth:
- highest: 4,700mts above sea level during the Salkantay trek in Peru. I remember myself thinking 'hey, I'm up almost as high as the summit of Mont Blanc'
- lowest: at 6.5mts below sea level, at the somewhat famous 'lowest point in the Netherlands' in Nieuwerkerk a/d IJssel.

Highest 5000 metres in Bolivia. Lowest probably somewhere in the Netherlands as well
highest 5000 mtr.at the train station on the way to Huancayo/Peru
lowest 30 mtr.scuba diving Bonaire/Netherlands Antilles
and,
a few times flying high in my live on "cloud Nr.7"
was also a few times deep down in hell.
Highest 5650 metre at Khardung-La on the way to Nubra valley, near Leh-Laddakh, India. We stayed for quite some time there, took pictures, had hot coffee and roamed around in the snow. But it was difficult to run around due to the scarsity of oxygen at such a high altitude.
Lowest point, i took the plunge and went quite deep and returned back satisfied
Has not understood a theme question. The highest and the lowest. A rating?
