Hi! where are you staying in the Phils? From the "looks of it", you seem to be enjoying the islands. Palawan is one of the best destinations, especially El Nido. Bohol is equally enchanting.
If you are taking a pit stop in Manila towards your next itinerary, you may also consider staying in Makati instead, rather than in the Malate/Ermita area. Makati City is the new center -- hip, modern and a lot cleaner. Even then, it's still a $2-taxi-ride away from the historical or interesting places in the Old Manila. A hostel accommodation in Makati City is likewise possible if you're into backpacking.

Since the country has 7.107 islands, you just can't decide where to go next! Been to El Nido and stayed for a month...
wow... that place is just breathtaking! real paradise! partied in Boracay, too commercialized now and shopped in Greenhills.
Will be there in April for another adventure probably going up north this time!
Other than the beaches.... Phillipines offers lots.... Banaue rice terraces, Underground river, Chocolate hills, Tubbataha Reef, Mayon Volcano to name a few...
I heard that there are a lot of cool places to go in that country. I definitely would love to taste some foods. so far I have tried dinuguan and adobo... all are good food, I also like how they cook frogs.. awesome food and love the beaches..
