Hey chemica, glad you said hello! Having a little kid sure does make a difference to travel plans. We haven't really left the country since our kids were born (2 and a half years and 7 months old)! Can't believe it's been that long really.
That's all set to change - we're planning a trip to San Diego for next year and will just be staying in one spot for a whole month. Well maybe a weekend trip or two to some interesting locations nearby. I figure this kind of travel is pretty good for little ones since they get a chance to settle and have a place that feels a bit like home (we'll stay in a vacation rental rather than a hotel).

Yeah, definitely changes any trvael plans drastically.
We're just doing small weekend trips around the UK when we have a babysitter for now and waiting to see how interested she'll be in travelling somewhere by next year.
Sounds like a good idea about setting up somewhere for a while so they can get used to it.
Definitely something I might try and look into next year or so. Hopefully :]
