I will be in Oz in Jan til June. I will probably travel for a month, and then find somewhere to settle to get some work, as I have my working visa.
Im planning on travelling the East Coast. Would love to get some surfing going and Im pretty adventurous, so anything a bit exciting. What sort of plans do you have?

Well, although that idea sounds great im really going on this long holiday with "just" enough money so travelling about would be hard for me
Ahh, sounds great, been adventurous on holliday means u get the best out of it!
my plans were really just to go to brisbane, swap between a few hostels throughout the 4 months whilst working so my money stays at the same or gets higher (so i can do more adventure stuff)
I'm from Scotland (Inverness), so away over the otherside of the world, and i'm doing it all on my own, just hoping either too meet up with people doing the same (so like tag along and see places etc...) or meet people once i get their now.. but very exciting, how about you?

Well Im hoping to start in sydney. do the whole east coast and then decide upon where i want to settle. how come you chose brisbane?
it is indeed very exciting, and also really nice to hear that so many other people are travelling alone too. makes it much less daunting!
