Needing to replacemy digi camera but which one to choose....

I am currently traveling and needing to replace my old Fuji point and shoot digital camera with a new one. What camera(s) would you recommend, i am needing one that is small to fit in a pocket, zoom, 10mp or more, good with all range of shooting including night mode as well.

Hi

I've recently bought a camera from Aldi - yes, aldi!!! haha!
It fits all the requirements you've mentioned, is small, has zoom, is 10mp and has all ranges of shooting including night mode. The make is 'traveller', and ive had one of these cameras before and it was really good, very reliable
This new one I have recently bought only cost £79.99, and comes with a case, memory card etc and has 3 year warranty! I really like it and would def recommend it, but then im not brilliant with cameras so couldnt really compare it too many others!

Good luck in finding one!

Thanks dont think they have an Aldi in Asia! Dont mind the cost too much as wanting one that will last a few years anyway.

Thanks for the reply tho

I would go with one of the Olympus Tough series point and shoot. It is waterproof, crush proof, and freeze proof. It takes great pictures and I never have to worry about it at all. I have taken it up to 6,100meters, into the Dead Sea, and dropped it down a flight of marble stairs with no issues. Every backpacker should own a point and shoot like this.

Nothing wrong with Aldi. They sell the cheapest 5% Belgian lager in the UK, their Italian ham is better (and much cheaper) than any sold in M&S, 6 large fresh tomatoes for 39p.. Why challenge the quality of their photography products when there's nothing wrong with them?
People might laugh at you when told where you bought your camera, but the smile will be on your face when you show them the pictures and what price you paid. Nice 1.

Yeah Aldi rock!!!!! haha...i know people with more expensive cameras by more well known manufacturers who have had problems or difficulties with theirs, yet my old aldi one had no problems (until i lost it on a slightly tipsy night out ) and touch wood have had no problem with my new one so far.

Go aldi!!!!!!
