I am looking for some good suggestions on hostels in the Bangkok area. I am hoping to stay near the khoasan road if anyone knows of any good places please let me know.
khao san road, hostels, the cheapest would be 100-120 baht(room) and there is something for 70 baht(dorm).... but it is really third worldly. Look beyond the Burger King branch, if you want to go that cheap. The burger King, is at the end of the KHAO san road, and you know its a very short road.
I'd recommend Soi Rambuttri, which is a short walk away from Khao San Road. There are numerous budget guesthouses along that street, and it's a nice area to stay in as there are some good restaurants, cafes and street stalls there too. I stayed in My House and Bella Bella guesthouses but there are several other similar ones.
I wil say Khaosan Road and Soi Rambuttri as well... Sawasdee Hotels are not bad... Should give it a try... They have several branches in Khaosan and Rambuttri
