Document wallets - what do you prefer?

Looking into some document wallets at the moment and was wondering what types people prefer?

Pouch for documents, ie passport and flight tickets? Money belt, strapped around the waist. The actual money belt is microfibre, anything paper goes into a zip-lock bag to prevent it from getting wet. (Sweat, rain, spilled drinks, etc.)

Money: Wallet that goes around the neck, the string should be long enough that I can easily put it into the pockets of my pants. It then comes out with unnecessary fumbling under the t-shirt, but is still safely attached to my person.

Needless to say that I keep cash, plastic and passport all seperate - my rule is that I should be able to keep going with the other items should I loose one or two of the above.

Pouch one with very thick straps so it can't be cut, tucked into my wasteband...

Trousers with zipped pockets.. Lots of them. I just don't trust pouches.
There was a post put up here sometime ago from a traveller who was robbed and now he puts double sided razor blades in his pockets. And in his words, any thief that tries it on, gets caught red handed.. Literally !

We have always used the neck ones and have never had a problem. Ours are made of soft leather and very comfortable. As long as you always wear it on the inside of your cloths you will be fine. However each to their own.
Cheers

I've always used a 'money belt' of the type that goes inside your pants. Nice to know where my passport, CC and spare cash is. Wallet? Sure. Handy, but shouldn't have anything in it you can't afford to lose. As a traveller to over 50 countries, the one time I got pickpocketed it was imperceptible. Stick with a money belt.
