Swine Flu question

"Better ignorant than sorry."

Where are you travelling? Unless your travelling in the centre of Swine Flu hotspot then I'd say of course not! Its not even a full pandemic yet. But yeah, you'll only catch it in a club if someone else has it and is giving it to you.

And it's really just the flu. You can catch flu any year and die from it if you already have other health issues. Just do everything you should do during any flu season. Wash your hands frequently, use sanitizer when you can't use soap and water, cough and sneeze in your elbow and don't be around people when you're sick.

You have a better chance of catching the flu by not washing your hands. I would suggest getting yourself some hand sanitizers, keep physical contact to a minimum, and always wash your hands. Safe travels!

Over hyped drivel.
Yes there have been a few fatalities in the UK, but there are still people dying of bee and wasp stings too. They never get a mention. Crocodiles bite in Africa, Polar bears attack in Canada and Malaria is nasty is Africa.
Travel and take a chance. Things never change, just the topics.

so its hand washing and keep physical contact to a minimum.

I see a lot of people getting colds lately. Does being a smoker makes it more risky? I plan to eat a lot of oranges this week, assuming that the vitamin C will improve my immune system.

Lastly, is HK and Macau a Flu hot spot?

If people dont sneeze or cough, they dont get to spread the virus??? You can't get it if you are sharing a bottle of beer???

I'm not paranoid... I am over optimistic, which I may not even wash my hands with liquid soap for French Fries. But I will now.

During the time when news about the flu was very abundant, I would see people everywhere wearing masks and always carrying some alcohol or alcogel. it didn't really scared me considering that there are hundreds of diseases out there that can be fatal.. the thing I did was keep myself healthy..

As soon as people realize this "threat" is not to be taken too seriously, there will another outburst of something. It's a trend. Governments in control scare us, we abide and fill our blood full of their rotten vaccinations.

Don't worry about the swine flu. I have spoken with a couple of people who have had it and they didn't experience anything worse than a couple of sneezes. Just take regular precaution and you will be fine!
