The Tour de France kicks off tomorrow. I know there are many fans of Le Tour on Travellerspoint and after an interesting message exchange with Michael (the Utrecht one), we decided we should have our own Travellerspoint Tour!
I've just added a article to the guide. More details on joining the challenge can be found in there.

I have been meaning to add some info to the Monaco entry, seeing as I was there a couple of months ago. This is probably a good reason!
Lots of opportunity to contribute this year, not just to the individual cities but also the countries. Six this year! Monaco, France, Spain, Andorra, Switzerland and Italy.
Considering I was the only one writing, I am appointing myself the winner of Stage 1.. muhahaaaaa.. Boy this yellow jersey looks good on me.
Stage 2 starts in and finishes in . I just started an article on Brignoles (really makes me wish I was there ). Plenty of blank spots in both that article and the Monaco article still. You can also write about other upcoming stages or contribute to articles about the region or country the stage is taking place in.
We'll plug this competition in our newsletter tomorrow as well to get a few more people involved.

Ok, in that case I declare Peter the winner of stage 2 as well.
Stage 3 was won by Lavafalls (Mont Ventoux), Stage 4 by Sam I am (Cap d'Agde), Stage 5 by Arif Kool and Stage 6 (although not finished yet) me (utrecht).
So Peter 2 points and 4 others with 1 point.
This is not the WIKI competition, just the fun of random choosing winners.
Sorry I choose to draw the winners by the way, I thought the Tour is just 3 weeks so let's have the fun now
