I've been travelling for 11 months now. I had thought to only be away for 8, but now I can't ever imagine going home. I'm not sure where home is anymore. I'm still able to carry on working with a laptop, and I'm living in a van. I'm having problems, though, of not having an address. Although I can manage bank accounts online, I recently had to have my driving license photo renewed, which required an address for it to be sent to. My passport, too, will need to be renewed this year. I've fallen out with my father, who had been receiving my post; has anyone advice for how to manage without a reliable fixed address. Thanks.
rent a post office safe/box. it's a PO box you get and you get mail sent to it

Read the fine print for your passport application before giving them a P.O. box address. It may work but the most recent US passport applications plainly state not deliverable to a P.O. box. (Yes, they may do it anyway but we just had ours renewed and were told in "no uncertain terms", "Do not use a P.O. box or we will not deliver it". When we received them, the envelope clearly stated it contained passports - didn't care for that much either.)
perhaps just have them both be sent to your dad then? they're not monthly things you receive, just once every few years.
