Hi guys. I am looking for travel buddies in India. I arrive on the 2nd May into Delhi and out of Mumbai on the 20th. I am 25year old male from Ireland and also need some advice on where is good to go or any good hostel's? the more information the better guys and thanks again. Thanks again!!
You probably don't want to stay to long in Delhi when you get in. However a few suggestions on places where you can go to that have a range of hostels to choose from. Paharganj and connaught place are located in central dehli has a wide range of hostels to choose from, advantage is that it is close to the train station and has a wide range of hostels to choose from. Central Delhi will be an eye opener for you and if you can handle the full brunt of delhi ( noise, mass of people and pollution) then these areas will be a good place to start. However if you want a quieter (if there is such a word in india..) more subdued area then majnu ka tilla will be more to your liking, this area is a new tibetan colony and has a varied amount of hostels (reasonably priced) to choose from. Its a little out of the way from central delhi however its allot quieter and you probably won't get as harassed as if you were in Paharaganj or Connaught place. Hope this helps.
