Onward travel tickets

Hey everyone! My trip starts in 17 days, I think at this point I am more nervous than excited but I know as soon as I get into the airport I'm going to be freaking out with excitement.

Josie,
If you read the Thailand Visa FAQ at the top of this forum, it states that visitors accepting the free 30 day Visa Exemption must have 10,000 baht on them. The Thai Immigration officials rarely ask to see your money or an onward ticket. Not from US, UK or Canadian citizens. They are happy you are visiting Thailand. Leave before your 30 days are up and everybody is happy.

I hope you have a great time on your upcoming adventure.

I found it, i'll read it! Thanks Vegasmike!

What did everyone else do? Did you make sure you had 10 000 baht on you? Or did you just go for it? How did it work out?

Josie,
I always had at least 1,000USD in travel checks when entering Thailand. In 15 trips to BKK, I was never asked to show any money. Have a great trip.

When you arrive in Malaysia, they will ask what date you are leaving.

True, but since Commonwealth countries & US citizens do not require a visa at all, not really a concern.

It's true you don't need a visa (depending on which country you're from), but the chap at the airport asked where I was travelling to next and what date I was leaving. I had to write it on the card the airline gave us.
