can anybody tell
NA is a rather large place - there are hundreds of best places in June. Tell us your interests and we might be able to come up with a few suggestions.
Johnny is right. Are you looking for some beach time? National Parks? Hiking? Rafting? Anasazi Ruins? Shopping? Narrow it down a bit and there are plenty of members that will try to help.
California
Well, I'd probably rank California's coastal and mountain areas #1 also (of course, I live here--so I'm biased)--and you need to avoid the Mojave Desert part of California unless its still really early in the month, but I really like Washington (along with a side trip to British Columbia in Canada) for a very close second (or even first) choice.
Utah and Colorado are also great this time of year if you like national parks (travel in early June, though). Stay out of the southern part of Arizona and all of Texas (too hot) and out of Alabama and Mississippi and Florida (too humid). Tennessee is nice--as are Maryland and Delaware and Michigan.
[ clarification ]
Other than the deep south (SC down to Florida) the weather pretty much everywhere will be perfect in June. So help us out with your interests and we'll be happy to hook you up.
I should probably also mention that if you are from India or Pakistan, then the deep south in June might be just to your liking. Seems like all my Indian and Pakistani friends really like the hot and humid weather.

Good point. Georgia will feel just like home.
South and North Dakota (so incredibly light in the evenings in May/June) are lovely - and pop over into Canada for a day or two.. Just perfect.
I think almost everywhere on the eastern half (let's say everything east of Wyoming down to Texas) is humid during the summer. Out on the West Coast (I'm from California) is hot but dry. Of course, out here the heat tends to peak in August. If you're looking for a variety and have plenty of time California is actually pretty ideal (again, probably biased). We have a multitude of national parks, a variety of cities, a slew of small and quiet towns, hundreds of miles of coast, mountains, lakes and rivers, historical sites...what's your flavor? We've got it here. Mix and match them: take a weekend in Yosemite (book soon, it actually might be too late by now) then head on over to San Francisco for some city life (the place is so compact you don't need a car) then drop by Santa Cruz or even head up to Peteluma for some small time coastal life then drop down to LA for some Hollywood. The coast will be cool. Inland it'll be hot (but not humid).
