Traveler's Tattoos

I love tattoos that have soul and a story behind them. I think travelers can have the most exciting stories behind even the smallest tattoos.
I have yet to begin my travels, as I am still deciding things (see other thread "Working Abroad and...") but I have a list already of about 16 countries I'd like to visit. I think I want to get a foot tattoo from each country on the inside of my forearm, like footprints. (And if its too rural or not safe to get one there, maybe henna then have it redone back in the states.)

Canadian Maple Leaf

Blood type

No Allergies.

A small rose (from years ago) and now considering another tat. Just haven't chosen a design yet.

Have a small tattoo on my right shoulder blade, had it done when I was travelling in N.Z. a few years ago. My best friend designed it during our travels and its a bit of a fusion of a seahorse and a "S" for Steff, influenced by Maori Design. Have been contemplating a second tattoo for years now, eventually I'll get one on my ankle.

I got an Om tattoo in India and I also had a bamboo tattoo done in Chiang Rai, Thailand last September... it's a large, colorful peacock feather. Can't wait to have more work done on my next trip! I love tattoos! Always tell a story (even if that story is of a drunken night as a backpacker..!)
