Egypt would be perfect during the time you plan to go. Some of the best bargains from the UK to Egypt are with thomsonfly btw. Instead of paying 400 pounds for London-Cairo return with BA you pay around 200 pounds for flights to Hurgada or Sharm el-Sheikh. Good deal if you ask me. Sometimes they sell these flights last-minute at a discount, start checking around 6 weeks before departure.
