Hello everyone just wondering if anyone can tell me were they stayed for the full moon party and what they though of the place! oh and also how far away!!

pending on how early before the full moon party you should be fine finding a room near there. It would help to reserve a room for those nights, this site can navigate you a bunch of places on haad rin. Remember Haad rin is where you want to be. If you do reserve a room and then find someplace better you are just out the 10%down payment(which isn't a lot)
Room availability also can vary on which party you go to. When are you going?

I would just stick with this web-sites accommodation page. For New Years and X-mas you probably want to look at making a booking right away. It is my understanding that that party gets the craziest. If I were you I would book a room for however you were planning to stay on the island but before you check in walk around the beach and check out other hotels. You will probably find some that still have openings and are maybe cheaper or closer to the action. Remember the hotel you book with will want all the baht up front so make sure to check out other hotels before you check in. Also if you didn't know already, Haad Rin is where all the action is so if you are planning to sleep you might want to stay on the other side of the island. It is Haad Rin Nak...i think or Noi...i am not sure someone else will know. I would give you some places to stay but I have only been once before for about 10 days and I stayed at the Phangan Bayshore resort it was really nice right on the beach but pricey.
