. Probably one of (if not the) most famous and most fun clubs in Bangkok. Definitely not a super "chill" backpacker hangout due to the necessity to dress up in more than a tye-dye shirt and fisherman pants as well as the pricey drinks (still cheaper than at comparably stylish clubs in Europe or the U.S.) but if you're looking for good partying at a Western-standard club, its your best bet. I don't quite know what sort of "party hard core" you're looking for, though...?
I vote you give Pattaya a try. Only a 2 hour bus ride away. Pattaya is a 24 hr party town. More bars, clubs, discos, live music, women, men and ladyboys than any other city I know. A decent beach option over on Koh Larn as well. Pattaya is the Las Vegas of Thailand, and I should know!

For me $400 would probably last me 10 days in Pattaya for everything including hotels with air - but I am a cheapskate!
In Pattaya your money will go a little further than Bangkok. You could blow some of that money on a good hotel and some fancy nightclubs. For Bangkok there are some nightclubs in the Ratchada area who would be glad to separate you from your cash. Although when I was 25 I would probably be spending a lot of time in the Nana Entertainment Plaza area and places like that.
