Peru for two weeka

Hi there,
I am hoping to travel to Peru for two weeks in September. We are planning on treking to Machu Picchu on a four day trek heading back to Cusco. Considering flights and our lack of time, does anyone have suggestions of what to do for the last few days - say 5 in total before we head back to Lima for our flights to the UK? I know that it isn't much time but ideally we would like something a little relaxing to finish off such an amazing trek.

There are sooo many possibilities to do around Cusco
The Pisac Market is really nice.Usually on Thursdays and Sundays and the Ruins of Ollantaytambo and Pisac are nice.
The Sacred Valley as well is great and you can do a lot of activieties around cusco. Paraglyding, Rafting etc.
You can also figure that out when you are here...
have a safe and nice trip

We have just returned from Peru. You can catch the Andean Express from Cusco to Puno (you will need an overnight stay) which is a 10 hour day trip but with some amazing countryside on the way. At Puno is Lake Titicaca and the reed islands with their native inhabitants. Lake Titicaca is pretty amazing too.

Hi:
If you have two weeks I recommend you to acclimatize doing the colca trek in 3 days, then visit the Puno islands and in Cuzco The city, the sacred valley and the salkantay trek for 5 days...If you need more help I can recommend you Perou Voyage, this is a great tour company. I was in Peru in may and they offer an excellent service. Check their site:-snip-

I can recommend you the Salkanaty trek....
i did it and loved it and it is a good alternative to the inca Trail and it also leads to Machu Picchu...
The nature is great on the trek and it is quite a nice adventure... ;=)

Thanks for all your help! Have booked and we are off mid September. A 7 day trek and lots of places to visit before we get there.

Thanks again
