I ask this because it should be based on places which are in the accommodation section which still don't have an article, yet when I created the Banja Luka article (named in the list), it did not come up with the name when searching in the accommodation section below the article (to include the table itself).
Hmm, weird, there is definitely a ! I notice the script on the backend to match up wiki articles manually is hidden, so will ask Peter about this now. I think the list is probably still pretty up to date other than this weirdness!!

Thanks Sam. I remember I had it before though a couple of times, though not very often. Also remember vaguely that I added a table while it was not on the list
Hmmm, so this hadn't been updated since the redesign went live. I've just run an update and set up the script that was meant to be taking care of this automatically. Linked up Banja Luka at the same time as well.

I am running into the same 'problems' again. Last week I had quite a few places which were not in the list, but did have accom tables (just did , which was not on the list.
Also had places on the list, which did not have accom tables. That is: either they did not show up automatically in the list, or they showed up but had no table in the article afterwards.
Just to let you know...
Looking at the Palanga article, it looks like it's matched to a city correctly.
Or do you mean it wasn't on the list of "top cities" that Eric made?
It's actually possible for that list of top cities to also be out of date by now. If some properties have decided to remove themselves from the system, then some small towns can end up with no properties available in them. Guessing this is what caused the ones with no accom tables and maybe the ones which didn't show up at all. But you'll have to let me know which ones specifically were problematic.
The script that keeps things up to date is definitely running though - just checked and it was last updated 3 Jan.
It's purely based on the list of places without an article. Not the top cities list, the ones with no article, the list which is linked to at the upper right when going to the travelguide.
I guess that one is not automatically renewed? If that is possible in the first place?
The other things are no problem, I guess that is what you mean with the script, that is accom table in an existing article is updated automatically.

Yeah, that list was created manually. It would theoretically be possible to make it automatic, but I can't see it being worth the time spent coding that
The script I was mentioning just updates the list of cities that can show in the autocomplete when you are linking up the city with the article.
