Hey guys
Im leaving in 2 days for England then Scotland for the Winter. Long story but I have not been able to think about packing.
What sort of clothes should i be looking to wear?
Would it be alright to land in London and go buy a coat somewhere? (because Sydney is impossible to find winter clothing now!) if so...where?
Any suggestions would be well appreciated!!!
it is freezing there! try to get winter clothes before you leave! You definitely need closed-toed shoes, long sleeved shirts, lots of pants, jackets, and a large winter coat! I went to the UK this summer and wore pants and my jacket a lot. it is probably snowing too so I would look into some boots and things like gloves, hats, scarves.
I don't see why not, it may be technically cold but we don't usually get any wind chill factor so not actually that bad although if your not used to it then i suppose that an added factor. You could pick up a cheap jacket at the supermarket just to get you started. Wear a pair of thermals under your trousers is a good tip that seems to compensate a lot, a beanie is also recommended.
