I am looking for a budget place for accommodation to visit the Sundarban in Bangladesh? I´d appreciate info about it.
You have one of two options; either book a Sundarban tour with a travel agency, who would arrange your accommodation and transport into the national park; or travel independently to Mongla or Khulna, then arrange your own accommodation and transport into the Sundarbans.
I heard that there is a monopoly about the trips into the Sundarbans. Do you know where I can arrange the trip in Khulna or Mongla?
Personally I wasn't interested in the Sundarban's so didn't look into it myself. You should be able to find this info from internet searches, guide books or Madmud on TT, who should be able to track someone down for you...
