What can I eat in Warsaw?

I am coming to Warsaw and I want to try good polish food. Can you help me?

Hi
i was there last winter and what i can recommend is a very strange soup pretty nice but the the plate is from bread so at the end you are eating even it:

Plate from bread it is interesting and funny
I will ask at the restaurant "soup in bread" I hope that they have only one like that.
How did you like Warsaw?

Ok so I have one soup I found Pierogi in diffrent Thread
Something more?

Hey

I spent three weeks living with my polish friend near Lodz earlier this summer.

Two great meals were,

Barscht - a soup and

Tatar - Beautiful, its kind of raw minced beef with egg, spices, onion and vegetables mixed in together. Sounds horrible but was sensational.

Also, they do alot of potatoey pancakey things with syrup and sugar.

Hope this helps.

Pierogi. This is called as filled dumplings or ravioli. This is a crescent-shaped parcels filled with any one of a number of tasty filling.

hi
you should try:
polish soups - the best are zurek, pomidorowa (tomato soup), barszcz (beetroot soup)
pierogi (damplings) the best are ruskie(russian style but in Russia they don't eat them:-)
and pączki (kind of donats) from Blikle's Shop on Nowy Świat Street and cup of classical hot chocolate in Wedel's Oldfashion shop on Szpitalna Street for dessert
and Ciechan Miodowy (Honey Beer)

Pierogi!! and Kapusta (cabbage) as a side dish.

Also try Golunka (not sure how it is spelt)
