I'm new to this site. Here's a little about myself I'm 25y/o male and live in the USA. I have traveled the U.S., U.K.,and some of the Caribbean.
I was planning on traveling to Australia in Sep. 2011. starting in Sydney (cheapest to fly into) then either traveling south to Melbourne or north to Cairns stopping along the way to see towns and sights. Any advice on which would be better? I don't plan on working while there as I have about $4000 USD saved for traveling. I want to see and do as much as I can while in Oz(nightlife,beach,sight seeing,meeting new people). At the end of my month journey whichever city I end up in (Melbourne or Cairns) I would take a flight back to Sydney then fly back home to the U.S. All feedback is much appreciated.
