I am off to Thailand alone Jan 6th. Have my accomodation booked for the first 3 nights I get there. If I make my way to Ko Pang Yang will I book somewhere to stay when I arrive or should I prebook? I know it's busy over the full moon so aready got that organised. Can anyone recommend a good place to go for Thai Boxing?
I travelled to Thailand in 2009 and we didn't pre-book much of the accommodation at all - just rocked up to the Islands and did a bit of negotiating with the touts. If you do this, make sure you ask to see the accommodation before you hand over any money though, that way you can get a feel for it and ask a couple of other guests what they think. We stayed at a lovely place in Koh Phi Phi this way.
