Im flying out to melbourne on 25th feb and then plan to be in sydney from 12th march for just over 3 weeks before flying over to new zealand!
just been looking at hostels in sydney, found the blue parrot and jackaroo had quite good reviews??

Hey keri i read the reviews about blue parrot and jackaroo also and they seem like really good places to stay. think the prices really good too.

On your way north, stop in a place called 'Nelson Bay'... very backpacker friendly and there's always cash in hand work around. Also happens to be beautiful. Its got a marine park with protected marine life for snorkelling.
