Hi.
My Husband and I would like to take our 2 children on a 2 week Holiday to America in 2012.
We are both worried that the drugs conviction we recieved 12 years ago is going to affect our application for a visa to visit America.
If they find out that you lie about your convictions you will be refused entry and they will deport you before you even step out the airport. Then you wont be allowed entry to the states, i dont know how long for though!!
Best bet be honest otherwise you could loose alot of money, its just not worth it!!!
We do plan on being honest about what happened, and we are going to go through the propper procedures to try and gain a visa.
I was just trying to find out if we had any chance at all of gaining a visa even though we both have "spent" drugs convictions.
I wouldn`t try to enter America haveing not gone through the propper procedures. Besides we would have 2 very upset children if we travelled all the way to America only to be refused accesses once arriving. :o)
Why ask strangers on the internet?
Why not ask the closest US Consulate?
