I had booked JA villa in pattaya but they said nothing in their system with this reference number 50935-4839989

I'm assuming you booked accommodation through travellerspoint, but that upon arriving at that accommodation they didn't know about your booking? This happens very occasionally, and is primarily the fault of the accommodation. Travellerspoint's bookings go through booking systems of other parties (primarily hostelworld and hostelbookers), with whom this hotel/guesthouse has a contract. When you made your booking, the accommodation should have received an email informing them of this, and they could also log in on the backend systems of the accommodation booking services to see all recently made bookings. Still, if they had badly configured spam filtering, and don't check the backend systems reliably, it's possible for them to have missed your booking.
If you the site admins through the contact page (choose: "I have already booked accommodation through Travellerspoint" as the topic), they should be able to sort this out for you (by having the booking service contact the accommodation directly), and probably get you a refund.

As Sander noted, I'm afraid the property owners must have misplaced your booking. Your booking was confirmed with them twice via email, and the availability that the management of the property uploaded was also amended for them to see. We'll have someone get in touch with the property to see how this could have happened, and if it's happened before will have the property removed permanently from our system (clearly this kind of thing is NOT good for anyone!). We will also have the deposit you paid refunded of course.

I don't know if you took Sander's advice and got in touch using the Contact page, but I've also passed on this case to the right person to look at and he'll be in touch shortly. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused

do you really understand this word "planing" ? before I travelled first thing I'll do is make sure I got somewhere to live find a trusable website who could help me book the room...
finally...I thought I found one is " Travellerspoint" but the true is no I made mistake after this happened what you agent should do is to find somewhere for me instead not telling me to find internet cafe with 7 months baby with me and look for other website to get suiltable room...This is unfair...totally unfair....but what can I do???? new year eve the day I would remember for all of my life with your website ....I tell you what.....under management...business is should have a customer care and planing before hand incase something like this would happened to someone who really don't know thailand well like me..first time traveller...how they gonna feel ..no good right?

As I wrote in my last post, I'm really sorry about the inconvenience, but as Sander and me explained, this actually had nothing to do with Travellerspoint. We can only confirm so many times with a property that they have your booking. There is always a level of trust in the accommodation owner also keeping a decent reservation system, no matter what site you book with. We actually recommend in the booking confirmation email to also double check before departure that the owner is expecting you, but clearly this is just an extra security for travellers as in 99.99% of the cases there are no issues. Someone is going to be in touch with the property owners to give them a mouthful, but clearly this won't help you anymore. Again, I'm really sorry this happened to you, especially in a holiday season like this!

Just wanted to follow up on this case and let you know that the property has been inactivated/removed from the system due to this happening. I know it doesn't help you specifically, but trust that you see how seriously we take issues like this!
