4.12.11: Leave NYC
I booked my flight to Frankfurt on 10 Apr 2011. About to spend 3 weeks over there.
Route have not finalized yet. Isn't France your interest?
Looks like a good trip. Sensible timings, should all work. All cities though, didn't you fancy seeing any smaller towns or countryside?
Thanks everyone-
@Lynn- I love France- but I've been there before so I'm not rushing back- and my friend and travel partner, having only been to Europe once and only to France, doesn't want to visit there on this trip.
@Magkal1- that's a good point. I live in New York and consider myself a city person- I guess I just gravitated towards that. I would like to visit Bohemia while in Prague but don't really know much about the country sides of Europe- beyond the French country side we passed through on the way to Oktoberfest last year (breathtaking!). Any recommendations?
If you go Munich-Prague by train make a stop in Cesky Krumlov. Plan a day in Cesky Krumlov.
Munich-Berlin is quite a long way to go, unless you take a night train for that you'll be better off going Munich-Prague.
Option one wins it for me.
It's all a matter of opinion of course, but I don't like Brussels at all.
A few days in Prague, Berlin and Amsterdam.... Perfect.
