Hi Folks,
We are two young (ish) travelers, one Irish and One Australian planning a road trip in a van. The proposed trip is as follows: Starting in Sydney, driving to Adelaide and then across the Nullarbor to Perth. From Perth, right the way up the west coast to Broome. It should take a month. We have a high ace van that has been converted into a camper and can sleep three, which is why we are looking for one more person to help cover the cost of fuel. The van runs on gas instead of petrol so it will be much cheaper. You also need to have a driving licence so you can help with all the driving. If this sounds like your thing or of you are planning a similar trip, drop us a line.
Oh, almost forgot the dates. We are looking at departing Sydney around the 9th of May

Hi Aine,
Does your van run only on gas (LPG) or is it dual fuel and can run on both LPG and petrol? The reason I ask is that LPG is sometimes hard to find in remote areas and sometimes supply is completely non existent. You will need to make sure you can get LPG at small enough intervals so that you don't run out, you can't fill a can with LPG to bring back to the van if you run out
If possible I'd try to take a bit longer than a month travelling from Sydney to Broome, there's a lot to see on the way and it's about 6400km.
