Yes, yes!!! Eastern Europe!! I will be in Romania/Hungary in July. So easy to get to Prague or Krakow from there
Hey man I'm Pete I'm 22 and I live in the uk, I'm heading the same way as you are at the same kind of time, I'm planning to go from Birmingham (uk) to belaruse and back on a very limited budget without visiting the same country twice and without flying, I have a route but I'm open to sugestions if your up for a challenge.
Yup, I've considered Eastern Europe, but really only had considered the countries I listed as I thought I'd be traveling the better part of the summer on my own, before considering a travel partner.
I'm open to going pretty much anywhere, the countries I listed are a soft itinerary, but if I find the right person(s) to go with, who knows!!
Sounds like there's a few people who'll be in the area, though, I'd be interested in meeting up!
What do you guys feel is the best way to keep in touch while traveling? Facebook? Regular email?

Personally I just stick a international call package on my phone contract and use that to speak to family and friends while I'm away but facebook is good for sharing photos and videos. Also altos is a lifesaver but be careful because for some reason it's illegal in the UAE.

Romania and Hungary sound pretty good too!
IF you really consider going to Eastern Europe come to Poland There are many great places to see: Krakow, Gdansk, Warsaw, Zakopane, Czestochowa and many others. I could help you with KRakow. I know a lot about this city. There are fantastic clubs in Krakow, great girls and amazing historical places...
