Ferries in Greece

We are traveling from Kusadasi, Turkey to Samos, Greece (the nearest island to the Turkish coast) and the are trying to make our way to Santorini. All posts I've read so far say to layover in Mykonos, so the trip is Samos --> Mykonos --> Santorini, but I can't find a single ferry website that lets me look up the schedule from Samos to Mykonos. I'm starting to get nervous that that route doesn't exist, but am also thinking it's possible that the Greeks just haven't confirmed their July schedule yet (that route is available in June).

I'm guessing they just haven't published the schedule yet, it seems unlikely that they would cut the ferry in the middle of tourist season. Could you email the company to find out?

Yeah there quite bad when it comes to stuff online! There will be ferries and there will be ways for you to make your way to Santorini - you have to go to Ios if your near which you will be!!

Hi,

Try www.gtp.gr for your schedules. This site only does single journeys so any connections must be checked individually.

The Greeks are totally incapable of publishing ferry schedules for the year and so any information must double and triple checked at the ports.

According to this site, there are no ferries running directly between Samos and Santorini so you will need to connect somewhere. If you are connecting, make sure you leave several hours between the arriving ferry and the departing ferry to allow for delays, last minute schedule changes and so on.
