Nepal/Tibet

Hey,

Hello,

If you want to make a trip to Tibetan Autonomous Region in China from Nepal, you will need a travel permit and join a group. Ten days would be rather short to organize it locally and/or even to go there and get back.

Should you just want to visit tibetan areas in north of Nepal, that's something you can easily arrange in Kathmandu and do it yourself too.
Recommend reading guidebooks, collecting more info, reading articles from internet (like wikitravel or travellerspoint) on Nepal to get some idea what you would like to visit, how to get there and back, how much time you'd need, etc.
But you have to be a bit prepared as you will have very short time - travelling in mountains require a lot of time in general.

Have a nice trip!

Ok thanks for that! will do some research

usually the shortest trip you can do in tibet from nepal is 6 days...fly in fly out..abit expensive.if u just want to do a tour of lhasa its ok but just for 10 days its too short to come to nepal and visit to tibet.you can pre-book your tibet tour,it will be best idea.
