My suggestion is to get off Samui and hit lesser visited islands. You can have an island to yourself off the coast. Go and have your boatman drop you off at uninhabited islands. Many of them off the Krabi coast. Another island you might research is Take a look at This has cheap bungalows and their own beach. Guaranteed to have very few others around.
