alright mate,
are u already in oz?? because i would reccomend the yha hostel, there alway good anough some of the other ones are hit n miss in difrent places, theres a yha about 300 meters from the underground in perth,when u get there its a lovely clean place n australains i found wer nice so that should put u at ease,with a job there are bar jobs and normal jobs there to be had, but u have to get a blue card i think its called so u get taxed less or they take something stupid like 25 percent
www.seek.com.au thats a good site for looking, theres also outback jobs and farming jobs for travellers which are also avaliable, probs less money or b working for accom and food

that puts my mind at rest a bit mate. I'm heading over in about 4 weeks and i'm going to try with a bar job when I get there. do you know if all places ask for that RSA thing for serving alcohol?

If you plan on staying in Perth for an extended period, have a look at www.gumtree/perth and look for rooms to rent, you can get a good deal.
