How much money a day do I need to survive in Europe?

Alice Liddell has indicated that this thread is about Europe

Every time you move from one destination it will cost, most probably it will impact the most or the equal of accommodation on your budget. Are you also setting this aside? Have you factored this in?

City living/visiting/entertainment will impact more than town will impact more than village/countryside. There is little indication you wish to see anywhere but cities, not usually indicative of a country and therefore this would be an expensive trip (for me). And the UK is most expensive.

Unless you clarify what 'comfortable' means to you and clarify the above, no commitment on a daily budget from me.

'Any tricks, tips, advice?' - Do not 'wing it' in all circumstances. Planning ahead and far enough in advance to purchase will save you money on flights and discounts on train fares and occasionally buses.

I don't have the money for the transportation set aside, yet. I'm working on it, trying to see prices and stuff (if you have a website to reccomend me for searching train fares and all that I'll be extremely grateful), but I totally have that in mind, kind of "set aside" too.
When I mean "comfortable" I know I'm being too vague... but it would involve explaining things I really don't know I'll be doing. Does that even make sense? If you don't want to make a commitment and say how much money would be involved, would you at least tell me how much money you would call "expensive"? Daily, of course. I need some kind of numeric orientation I hope I'm not very annoying!!!
