traveling to India in september

Fly to Mumbai in the middle of September, would like to know where to head first that would be popular with travelers. A good travelers spot during this time would be awesome. Don't want to go to certain routes out of season and see less people.

whats ur plan

Hey Jonny,

Welcome to India
Having a guide along always helps but in my opinion you can do it without this as well. Just ask.

How many days do you plan to stay in Mumbai ?
To list a few, here's a list of places to see in Mumbai:

Nariman Point
Colaba Causeway
Worli Sea Face
Gateway of India
Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST)
Marine Drive
ISKCON Temple- Mumbai
Elephanta caves
Crawford Market (good place to shop around)
Fashion Street (good place to shop clothes around at pretty cheap rate, you need to bargain hard)

Also, just so you know "CST" is used for 2 locations so be specific: 1 is for the airport (CST International airport) and 2nd CST train station/junction. I came across of tourist wherein the cab driver dropped her at CST train station instead of airport :D

Every state of this country has its own culture and lifestyle so do plan well ahead.
Apart from Mumbai, these states are worth visiting: Goa, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarkhand....

You will find lots of tourists here in Goa. The tourist season starts around September here.

In Mumbai every year a lot of tourists are come to visit. It have the many beautiful places for visit.
When you make the trip to Mumbai you also take some more days in hand for visit.
