Hi everyone!
If you are flying e.g. Koh Samui to Phuket etc then its definately doable....though not sure why you want to spend 1 wk on Koh Samui, 1 wk phuket then 5 days Krabi+Phi Phi....it all seems like excess beach time as you are on a tight schedule and you might be better exploring Vietnam more e.g. going to Ha Long Bay, Hanoi, Don Det (4000 islands) etc. I would leave out Koh Samui as i was there last month and you get the same stuff on the West side and in fact better beaches/islands imo e.g. from Krabi you can go to Koh Lanta, Ton Sai, Railey etc.
Phnon Penh to HCMC has good bus connections taking about 6hrs and being v cheap e.g. Mekong Express Lmousine Bus $12, The bus leaves from O'Russey market in Phnom Penh. Remember you need a visa before arriving to Vietnam, bus companies will not let you board the bus unless you have one

thanks for your help, i was thinking about Ha Long Bay and Hanoi but i think i'll just spend more time around Malaysia instead of going back up North.
Is there much to do/see in Ho Chi Minh? thanks again!
5 nights may be a little too much for Singapore! Unless you factor in a day for hangovers after a night of drinking... etc :P You should probably be done seeing most of the stuff within 3 or 4 days actually
Ok thanks i may need a hangover day haha i see your from Singapore! what would you recommend doing while i am there? 'Must doo's) ? lol x
