Hi, I've made the decision to go travel alone for upto a year or longer providing all goes well, I plan to start in Thailand and go from there, I don't really have a plan as yet, just go with the flow! I'd love to meet some people as I'm pretty scared at the thought of it, I love to party, sunbath, explore and try new things, I've been Thailand before but not alone and loved it I haven't booked the flight yet but plan to go in October/November! Im Ashley, will be touching down in November at Bangkok. Very much going to go with the flow but relaxing (lots of sun bathing) and seeing some amazing places, meeting some interesting people and generally just having a great time. I want to scuba dive and go Vietnam.

Hi Ashley, and cocktails I hope to add to the sunbathing, wouldn't be the same without! Scuba diving would be pretty cool, I don't know I could I scared of fish haha! What date are you landing? Where you flying from? Have you gone direct?

I am flying from heathrow to Bangkok with a 2 hour stop in Doha. Flight is at 20.30 on 5th November and land in Bangkok on the 6th.

Aww so good to hear someone that's doing the same as me. I have a one way ticket to Vietnam on the 28th of December then travelling down to nha trang to do some diving!
You should deffo do some snorkelling while you're out there the fish are beautiful
It's all a bit daunting and doesn't seem real yet but very exciting!

Have you booked your flights yet? I fly out to Bangkok from Scotland on Oct 7th and am hoping to spend a few days there before heading north to Chiang Mai area then Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. Plans are very loose at the moment but my intentions sound similar to yours.

Me and a buddy will be in Thailand from late September for around a month or so.
Planning on hitting Bangkok for as long as we can take it, Chiang Mai, then island hopping for the rest of our time in Thailand.

Charlene I fly from london to Bangkok on the 7th october too! Cant believe how soon it is now! Im staying in Bangkok for a few days then up to chang mai and then through laos vietnam and cambodia then back into thailand to do the islands for December!
So if any of you are planning to do the same route let me know! The more the merrier!
