I want to spend some time working in Australia but I am travelling to America and Greece during 2014 so looking at going early 2015.. But far I know ! Anyone else looking at going around then?

Could you explain what makes you feel that asking questions and talking here is hard? The admins here are very good with listening to feedback and improving things - but it's hard for them to do so if they don't know what problems people are experiencing.
Is it finding back the conversations you're in, or seeing when there's new activity in those conversations, or...?
(Admittedly this is primarily designed as a forum; optimized for slow moving conversations taking several days, with longer posts answering questions - rather than swift moving "chat" of short messages - but that doesn't mean we wouldn't try to make things better for the experience you're looking for, too.)
I'm not planning on going til around August 2015 now! So far away !!
