Ah sweet, i should still be there then, one of friends lives out there so planning on having Christmas and New Year with him and his girlfriend.
I know what you mean about the mixture of feelings! Sure there will be plenty of us in the same boat once we get out there so hoping nothing is going to be too daunting ha!

Aww thats nice sounds like you are pretty much sorted, that takes the pressure off for you a little. Guessing you've been Australia before then?
Im just hoping there's a decent enough hostel I can stay in when I arrive in Melbourne and just concentrate on finding a job, that's my main focus I guess then hopefully everything else ill fall into place, little bit of optimism. And make a few friends on the way incase I get stuck dont want that now!
No it's my first time my friends moved over to Aus to be with his Australian girlfriend after her visa ran out over here.
Well feel free to stay in toucvh, i should have had a few weeks of sampling hostels by the time you are ready to come over so I'll try and recommend one haha
Yeah I want to get my RSA course done in my first week so i can apply for bar jobs, but will take anything I suppose, the sooner I'm earning over there the better!
Yeah I'm looking at a couple of road trips so would be good to have some travelling buddies!

No flying from Bangkok, in Thailand for a month cheaper to fly straight from there...
